No offense to the "iron butt" crowd, but beating yourself up riding your bike long distances is a bit on the down side if there really is no reason for it. Smart guys trailer the heavy miles and break out the Harley for the smiley miles. I rode all day on Saturday, putting several hundred miles on my bike. Had a great time with great people, but when I got into my truck to go out that evening, it truly was a relief! Have fun trailering and remember, bikers are SUPPOSED to be just a little more accepting of other lifestyles. Its that FREEDOME OF THE ROAD thing so few seem to understand.

Maybe just getting wiser.

I don't see anything wrong with trailering a bike at times. I work 180 miles from home(and I live miles from anywhere). I stay there 3-4 days a week. So, I often trailer my bike with me so I can ride after work. I also have trailered it to rallies when I know I will leave there and head directly to work. I don't care what others think about it.
As it was pointed out in the movie WildHogs......maybe the "posers" are those who have forgotten what it is all about, the ride, the friend more...
