In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
The man in his kindness and haste did not understand the purpose of the cocoon. The restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings. That was the only way it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. We would like to go through life with ease and especially no pain but that isn?t always the case.

My simple advise to you about your sister is to simply include her in some H.O.G. Chapter get togethers and to let her go out and meet people at her own pace...
Buy her a H.O.G. membership and join yourself also...
She can meet nice people...Have some fun...Be around us "mean and nasty scooter trash" LOL It will help her get back to living and to also be more open to starting a new life without him...

your a great sister, but there is pretty much nothing you can do for your sister till she is ready to start dating on her own. It might do her more harm than good to get her to date when she is not ready for it I'm a widow of 13 years today and yes i have moved on with my life but there are days when i still miss my husband.......So give her time and your support. That is all you can do for her right now

I'd also be concerned about setting her up with a bike owner. May bring back some very strong negative memories. If she goes to the Daytona rally, then you'll know she's ready. Make sure you have her input before you push her too far.
You're a sweetie to be concerned about your sis, but take it from an "older" widow.
Has she had any counciling or taken a grief recovery "course"?? That might be a better way for her to start healing. You sure wouldn't want her to get into a relationship that wasn't good for her and cause her more pain ( believe me !)
Time doesn't heal everything, too often all that happens is that more valuable time passes. Sometimes we have to take the responsibilty for our healing into our own hands - you can't force her, just be supportive.
